Original 1940s British Men's White Rayon Scarfs

An original British made white coloured rayon scarf dating from the 1940s and in good condition. 

This style of scarf was intended to be worn with evening wear and formal attire but saw many other uses. They were highly popular with both British and American aviators during the Second World War and can be seen in many period photographs. 

This example is typical of the period being made from a white coloured rayon material and featuring tassels to each end. 

The scarf is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. It displays well but is a vintage pre-owned item so may have small flaws commensurate with age. 

This would make a good addition to an RAF or USAAF uniform or mannequin.
