Original 1940s White Cotton Summer Trousers

An original pair of white cotton summer trousers, dating from the 1940s. 

This style of trousers was worn by men in the summer months in hot weather. They are made from a cotton twill material and feature a very wide leg, typical of 1940s trousers. They also have a separate waistband with belt loops, a button fly and interesting horizontal pockets just below the waistband.

The trousers will suit a 28" waist and when laid flat they measure - 

Waist - 14"
Rise - 13"
Inside leg - 29 1/2"
Outside leg - 42 1/2"
Cuff - 11"

The trousers are very wearable but have various stains which are illustrated in the pictures. Please study them before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a vintage, pre-owned item with some flaws.
