Original 1960s Men's Suit by 'Moss Bros' - SIze 38L

An original men's two piece suit which was made by 'Moss Bros' in the late 1960s.

This suit is typical of those made in the  late 1960s. It is cut from a tweed wool type cloth which features a mottled colourway with a black stripe running through it. The jacket features a three button closure, flapped lower pockets and a single breast pocket. The rear of the jacket features a long single vent as was popular during this period. The jacket is fully lined and features two labels, both of which bear the maker's name of 'Moss Bros'. The second label is found inside the pocket and bears the size of 38L as well as the numbers 007!

The trousers are again typical of the period featuring a mid rise waist and narrow trousers leg. The fly fastens with a 'Lightning' brand zipper and angled slash pockets are located to each hip whilst the rear of the trousers features a single pocket. Waist adjusters are located on each hip meaning that the waist size can be changed. 

The suit was designed to fit a 38" chest and when laid flat measures -

Waist - 15" (15 3/4" with adjusters unfastened)

The suit is in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It has been worn with some limited signs of age and wear. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that this is a vintage pre-worn suit with small issues commensurate with age.
