Original 1950s British Military Leather Sandals by 'Bata' Size 8

A scarce pair of original British military leather sandals made by 'Bata' in approximately the 1950s. 

This style of leather sandals was popular with officers in the British Army and Royal Air Force during the Second World War as well as during the post-war period. They are a simple design which features a leather sole with leather straps and a metal buckle. The insole is marked with the maker's name along with the size of 8, although they may fit slightly larger. 

The sandals are in good condition with some signs of wear and age. They look to be very wearable but please take time to study the pictures and bear in mind that they are a vintage, pre-owned item.
