Original 1940s British Army Officer's Service Dress Trousers 35x34

SOLD

Code: 53625

An original pair of WW2 period British Army Officers Service Dress trousers in good condition which were made by 'Rogers & Company' in London.

This pattern of trousers was worn in conjunction with the officers Service Dress tunic. They are cut and finished in a typical 1940s manner with a high rise waist and wide leg. Also indicative of the period is the button fly and the buttons fitted around the inside edge of the waistband designed to support braces. The front of the trousers are pleated and slash pockets are located to the top of each side seam. The rear of the trousers feature no pockets which is usually associated with earlier, pre-Second World War trousers.

The trousers will suit someone of around a 34 - 35"" waist depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -

Waist - 17 3/4"
Inside leg - 34 1/2"

The trousers are in good condition and display well. There are signs of wear and age and a small hole to the sear as shown in picture 6. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that these are a pre-owned pair of vintage trousers with small issues commensurate with age.

A good pair of WW2 period officers trousers which will suit a tall person well.
