Original 1940s CC41 Leather Ankle Boots - Size 9

SOLD

Code: 53587

A good original pair of CC41 Brown pebbled leather boots in excellent condition and in a size 9.

These boots were made as part of the CC41 utility scheme which was brought into effect in the UK in 1941 as part of the larger rationing scheme. The aim of the scheme was that affordable, quality clothing would be available to everyone of every class and could be bought using coupons.

The boots are typical of those worn by civilians as well as British Army Officers throughout the 1940s. They are made from a brown coloured pebbled leather and feature a stitched toe cap, seven eyelets and a leather sole. The heels are also leather and are modern replacements.

The boots are marked inside directly to the leather insole and feature the CC41 logo.

The boots will suit a size 9 foot well.

The boots are in worn condition as can be seen in the pictures. They display well and look to still be wearable. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a vintage pre-owned item which may have small issues commensurate with age.

Altogether these are a nice pair of original boots which are in good condition for their age. They would make a great addition to any wardrobe or collection!
