Original 1950s Men's Swimming Trunks by 'Oiuba'

A rare original pair of 1950s men's swimming trunks in a striking lime green colour. 

These shorts are typical of those produced during the 1940s and through to the 1960s. They are made from a jade green coloured jersey knit which may be bamboo rayon or similar and allows for plenty of stretch and a tight fit. There is a deco style pattern to the left side which is in contrasting navy blue and yellow colours which is evocative of the period. 

The shorts retain their original label which bears the name 'Oiuba'.

The shorts will fit around a 30" waist well and stretch from 13" to 16" at the waist when laid flat.

Overall the shorts are in very good condition with no signs of previous wear or use. They display well and are still totally wearable.
