Original 1940s British Khaki Drill Shorts

An original pair of British Khaki Drill Shorts dating from the 1940s and in good condition.

These shorts are typical of those manufactured in the 1940s. Made from a khaki coloured cotton drill the shorts feature a button fly, high rise waist, single rear pocket and a twin pleated front. Slash pockets are located to each side and are straight, rather than slanted which dates these to being earlier rather than later 1950s examples.

The shorts will fit around a 27" waist depending on desired fit. When laid flat the shorts measure - 

Waist - 13 1/2"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 16 1/2"
Inside leg - 6 1/4"
Outside leg - 17 1/2"

The shorts are in good condition for their age and display well. They are still very wearable with only limited signs of age and wear as shown in the pictures. There are some marks etc but they are good overall. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a pre-owned pair of vintage shorts which may have small issues commensurate with age.
