Original 1940s French White Cotton Spearpoint collar Shirt

An original men's collared shirt made in France in approximately the 1940s.

This style of shirt was popular in rural France during the 1930s and 1940s. It features a spearpoint collar as was popular during this period and a half-placket front. It is made from a lightweight poplin cotton and features a barrel cuff.

The shirt will fit someone with a 38" chest depending on desired fit. When laid flat it measures -

Chest - 22 1/2"
Inside arm - 20 3/4"
Outside arm - 23 1/4"
Shoulders - 16"
Collar - 15"
Length at back - 32 1/2"

The shirt is in used condition with various signs of wear and age. This is to be expected of a vintage work shirt but please study the pictures carefully to get a good idea of the condition.
