An original American made men's single breasted lightweight jacket dating from the late 1960s.
This jacket is made from a rayon cotton mix and is extremely light making it suitable for wear in hot weather. It is cut in a typical 1960s style with thin lapels and two button front. There is a welt pocket to the chest and two flapped pockets to the lower portion. The rear features a single vent.
The interior of the jacket features a partial lining and twin inside pockets. Below one of these is the maker's label which reads 'Sagner Northcool Weber's Sandusky Ohio'. Inside the pocket there is a care label as well as a union label which features the 'R' trademark which dates the jacket to after 1962.
The jacket will suit someone with a 40" chest. When laid flat it measures -
Chest - 22"
Inside arm - 16 1/2"
Outside arm - 25 1/2"
Length - 30 1/4"
Shoulders - 17 3/4"
The jacket is in good condition with some signs of wear and age. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn jacket which may have small issues commensurate with age.
A nice original American jacket which is typical of the era.
