Original 1950s American Loop Collar Shirt by 'Kingsmen'

An original 1950s men's loop collar shirt made by 'Kingsmen' and in good condition.

This style of casual shirt was highly popular with men in America throughout the 1950s and the 1960s. The shirt is made from a lightweight fabric which may be rayon or a rayon cotton mix. It features a great blue and brown pattern, a loop collar, twin patch pockets to the chest and short sleeves. 

Inside the shirt the original label is still present and bears the maker's name as well as the size of small and the word 'California'. A second label reads 'Washable' and 'M' which refers to the size. I would actually say the shirt is a small which will suit a 38" chest. 

When laid flat the shirt measures measures - 

Chest - 21"
Shoulders - 16 3/4"

The shirt is in good condition for its age and is very wearable. It is a vintage item so may have small issues commensurate with age. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.
