Original 1950s American Loop Collar Shirt by 'Lancer' - Size Small

An original 1950s men's loop collar shirt made by 'Lancer' in a striking orange colour.

This style of casual shirt was highly popular with men in America throughout the 1950s and the 1960s. The shirt is made from a lightweight, breathable fabric which is either linen or possibly a linen/rayon mix. It features a top stitch detail to the collar and pocket flaps, a loop collar and short sleeves. The orange colour is much more bright and orange-y than in the photographs which make it more of a red colour.

Inside the shirt the original label is still present and bears the maker's name as well as the size of small and the words 'Made in California'. 

The shirt is a small size and when laid flat it measures - 

Chest - 20"
Shoulders - 17"

The shirt is in good condition for its age and is very wearable. It is a vintage item so may have small issues commensurate with age. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.
