An original Able Seamen's pillow dating from around the time of the Second World War.
This pillow was part of a group of items which belonged to an Able Seaman D. Scotchmer FX572019. It may well date from the pre-war period and is certainly of the period. It bears the original owner's markings to one side and is in good condition all round.
An interesting piece of Royal Navy personal kit!
