Original 1940s American Double Breasted Blazer by 'A. Nash Co'

An original patch pocket jacket made in the United States by 'A. Nash Co' in the 1940s and in a small size 36" chest. 

This jacket is typical of those made in the USA during the 1940s and would have been a casual jacket worn with slacks. It is made from a midnight blue coloured wool and features patch pockets, a double breasted 4x1 front closure and peaked lapels. The jacket features a partial lining of Rayon and a single interior pocket. Below this is the maker's label whilst inside the interior pocket there is a second label with more details including the original owners name. 

The jacket will suit someone of a 36" chest and when laid flat it measures - 

Chest - 19 1/2"
Inside arm - 16 1/2"
Outside arm - 24"
Shoulders - 17 1/2"
Length - 28 1/2"

The jacket is in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It shows now signs of excessive wear or use and overall presents extremely well. It is of course a vintage item so may have small issues commensurate with age.
