Vintage French Ticking Stripe Chore Jacket

SOLD

Code: 53043

An original blue and white ticking stripe chore jacket made in France in the 1980s.

This style of jacket was worn throughout the 20th Century by labourers, farm workers, engineers and many more. It has become the most classic design of work jacket without a doubt and this one really stands out from the crowd as it is made from a blue and white striped ticking cotton. The jacket features a fly button front, notched collar and functioning cuff. Three patch pockets are fitted to the front of the jacket. Inside the jacket fitted to the neck is the original label which bears the manufacturer's initials of 'MSB' and the word 'Sanfor'.

The jacket will suit around a 38" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures -

Chest- 22"
Inside arm - 21"
Outside arm - 24 1/2"
Shoulders - 18 1/2"
Length - 29 1/2"

The jacket is in excellent condition and appears to have never been worn. Please take time to study the pictures and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small issues commensurate with age.

A nice original work jacket in a striking colourway!
