Original 1955 Dated Scottish Military Balmoral Bonnet - Size 7 1/8

An original 1955 dated military Kilmarnock Balmoral Bonnet as worn by various Scottish regiments. 

This example is typical of the period. It is made from wool and features a red white and blue diced headband and tails to the rear. 

The interior of the cap features the original markings including the size of 7 1/8, the 1955 date and the War Department broad arrow marking. As well as this there is a War Department acceptance stamp. 

The overall condition of the bonnet is good and it displays well. There are a few moth nips and other signs of age and wear so please study the pictures before purchasing.
