Original 1940s British Khaki Drill Trousers

SOLD

Code: 52738

An interesting pair of original Khaki Drill trousers dating from the late 1940s or early 1950s.

These trousers are made from the standard khaki coloured cotton drill material used by the British military for tropical clothing for many years. They feature a high rise waist and wide leg as well as a ticket pocket below the waistband and waist adjusters which are joined by elastic inside the rear of the waistband. The trousers have been fitted with stamped brass buttons as were used at the beginning of the war although these look like they may have been retro-fitted.

The trousers will suit around a 28" waist depending on desired fit and when laid flat measure -

Waist - 14 3/4"
Rise - 13"
Rear rise - 17"
Inside leg - 30"
Outside leg - 42"
Cuff - 10"

The trousers are in good wearable condition with no serious wear or damage. There is staining and some signs of age so please study the pictures carefully before purchasing.

A nice, interesting pair of KD trousers with some great details!
