Original Victorian Men's Brown Leather Ankle Boots - Size 7

An original pair of brown leather ankle boots dating from the Victorian period and in good condition. 

These boots have all the hallmarks of a pair of boots made during the Victorian period, paired with a very pointed toe. The fine quality of the boots is typical of the era as is the very small stitching used throughout the boots. The boots have been reheeled in the 1960s with 'GT' brand heels - no doubt by a young man looking for the modern pointy toe winkle picker look on the cheap!

Inside the boots are some markings including the size of 7. The boots measure - 

Length - 11 1/4"
Width at widest point - 3 1/2"
Width at narrowest point - 2"

The boots are in used condition with various signs of wear and age. They are an antique item and whilst it is possible they are wearable, they are sold as a display / reference item. Please study the pictures before purchasing.
