Original 1950s Black Leather GPO Post Officer Works Boots - Size 10

An original pair of GPO Post Office workers black leather ankle boots dating from the 1950s and in a size 10. 

These boots were standard issue for men working for the Post Office in the 1950s. They feature a black patent leather upper, plain toe cap, leather sole and rubber heel. The boots feature seven black painted brass eyelets through which pass original period black cotton laces. The interior of the boots is lined in white leather and is testament to their quality. Various details are marked to the interior including the size of 10. 

The boots are in good condition as can be seen in the photographs. They show some signs of wear and use but look to still be very wearable. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that these are a pre-worn pair of vintage boots which may have small issues commensurate with age.
