Original 1940s Navy Blue Six Button Men's Waistcoat

An original men's six button navy blue waistcoat dating from the 1940s. 

This waistcoat is typical of those made and worn during the 1940s. Made from a navy blue coloured wool and lined with striped cotton, the waistcoat features a six button from and four welt pockets. The back of the waistcoat is made from rayon and features a cinch back belt and buckle as is usually found during this period. 

The waistcoat will suit a 38" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -

Length - 24"

The waistcoat is in good condition for its age with only limited to signs of wear and use. Overall it displays well but please bear in mind that this is a vintage item which may have small issues commensurate with age. 

A classic 1940s waistcoat in a great colour.
