An original pair of Royal Navy woollen socks.
These socks came with a number of other items which all belonged to A. Kettle who served in the Royal Navy in the 1940s and 1950s. There are no labels in the socks but they date from this period none-the-less.
The socks are made from a thick, navy blue coloured wool and feature the original owner's name in white.
They are in good condition with some original period darns.
A nice original pair of Royal Navy socks which would make a good addition to any Royal Navy or Fleet Air Arm collection.
