Original 1950s British Brown Whipcord Breeches

An original pair of 1950s men's brown coloured whipcord breeches in good condition. 

These breeches are typical of the era featuring a high rise waist and and voluminous cut to the thigh and breech. The fly fastens with buttons and more buttons are positioned around the waist to which braces can be attached. frog mouth pockets are located to the front and a small ticket pocket can be found at the waist. No rear pockets are present and the calves fasten with buttons which is an attribute usually seen on much early examples. 

The breeches are made from a heavy brown whip cord material and the interior features a partial cotton lining. 

The breeches are a larger size which would suit someone of around a 38" waist depending on desired fit. When laid flat they measure - 

Waist - 19"
Rise - 15 3/4"
Rear rise - 22" 
Inside leg - 24/2"
Outside leg - 38"
Calf - 7"
Cuff - 5 1/2"

The breeches are in good condition with only limited signs of wear and use. Overall they look to be very wearable but please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pre-owned pair of vintage breeches which may have small issues commensurate with age.
