Original 1950s Navy Blue Gabardine Ski Trousers by 'White Stag'

SOLD

Code: 51935

An original pair of navy blue coloured gaberdine ski trousers made by 'White Stag' of Portland, Oregan during the 1950s.

These trousers are typical of skiwear of the period and would quite possibly have originally had a matching ski jacket. The trousers are made from a navy blue coloured gabardine material and are cut with a high rise waist and feature an interesting leg shape which becomes very narrow at the cuff, giving a typically period ski suit silhouette. The trousers feature a 'Talon' brand zipper to the fly and feature two angled slash pockets to the front which both fasten with zippers, one of which features a small metal plated stag, the same as seen on the makers label. The rear features two zip pockets, both of which are made by 'Talon'.

Inside the trousers still retain their original label which states the manufacturers name as 'White Stag' and features a graphic of a leaping stag.

The trousers will fit someone of around a 32" Waist depending on desired fit and when laid flat the measure -

Waist - 16 1/2"
Rise -  13 1/2"
Rear rise - 18"
Inside leg - 31 1/4"
Outside leg - 43"
Cuff - 5 1/2"

The trousers are in good condition with some signs of wear and use. Overall they display well but please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small issues commensurate with age.

A nice pair of classic ski trousers with some great details!
