Original 1950s Blue KLM Airlines T Shirt

An original Dutch KLM Airlines T-Shirt dating from the 1950s and in good condition. 

This T-shirt was most likely designed as a casual or sports top for employees of KLM. KLM, or Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij to give it its full name, is and was the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands.

This T-Shirt is typical of the period featuring a round crew neck and cuffs in white which make a lovely contrast against the blue body of the top. The KLM logo is printed in white to the front.

The top will fit someone of around a 38" chest depending on desired fit. THe material has some give in it and it was designed to be worn close-fitting. When ;laid flat it measures - 

Chest - 19 1/2"
Shoulders - 18 1/2"
Length - 25 1/2"

The top is in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It is a pre-owned vintage item but only shows limited signs of wear and age. 

Altogether a fantastic original 1950s T-Shirt in striking colours. This would make a great addition to any wardrobe!
