Original 1950s Men's Atomic Fleck V-Neck Jumper

An original 1950s men's jumper featuring a typically period atomic fleck design. 

The jumper appears to be hand knitted and almost certainly originated in the UK. It is made from a dark, navy blue coloured wool which features a bright electric blue fleck to it, typical of the 'atomic' style which was popular during the 1950s. It features a V-neck, which were again popular during this period and it would not look out of place if worn by a rocker and a ted from the era. 

The jumper is a medium size and when laid flat measures - 

Chest - 21"
Inside arm - 21"
Outside arm - 25"
Shoulders - 19 1/2"

The pullover is in good condition with no serious signs of wear and use. It is still very wearable and displays well but may have small issues consummate with age. 

All in all a nice original period jumper which is very evocative of the period!
