Original 1945 Dated Swedish Army Brown Leather Ankle Boots - Size 10

An original pair of Swedish Army brown leather ankle boots dating from 1945 and in a larger size 10. 

These boots are typical of the period featuring a brown pebbled leather upper and a leather sole. The toe of the sole features a large toe plate which is attached with slotted head screws whilst the heels are plain leather. The boots feature a stitched toe cap and nine eyelets through which are leather laces pass through. 

The sole of the boots bear various markings inculding the 1945 date and the size of 45 - equivelant to a UK 10. Another marking is present and features the graphic of a phoenix and the words 'GYLLENE GRIPEN'.

The boots are in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures. They show no signs of previous wear or use but may have small issues consummate with age. 

All in all a very nice pair of original period boots in excellent condition and in a good wearable size.
