A fantastic example of a wartime RAF War Service Dress blouse dated 1944 with original insignia to an Flight Engineer officer.
This original wartime blouse features a lovely original 'E' brevet denoting Flight Engineer as well as a single rank tape to each epaulette denoting the rank.
Inside the blouse retains its original label which states the blouse to be a size No.7 which will fit up to a 36" chest. It also has the manufacture Montague Burton and the date 1944 printed on it.
The blouse is in very good condition for its age and displays very well. The serge is in good condition as is the cotton drill lining. All the buttons are intact as is the wire waist buckle.
All in all, a smashing original Bomber Command War Service Dress blouse which would compliment any wartime RAF collection.
