Original 1943 Dated RAF Ordinary Airman’s Forage Cap

An original 1943 dated RAF OA forage cap or side cap as worn by all airmen under the rank of F/Sgt throughout the Second World War.
The cap features an original brass kings crown cap badge and two brass kings crown raf buttons to the front.
Inside the cap the original white stamp is still present and the 1943 date can easily be read. The makers name is also present as is the size which appears to be 6 7/8.
The hat is in good condition with only a couple of minor moth grazes to one side which are only noticeable on very close inspection.
