A lovely original example of a pre 1953 Kings crown RAF Pilots wing.
This wing is a padded example as favoured by RAF Officers and is typical of those found on WW2 Service Dress tunics as well as occasionally on battle dress and Khaki Drill.
The condition of the wing is excellent as can be seen in the photographs. The silk features in the wing are excellent and show no sign of wear, the embroidery is all intact and the rear is also good. There a couple of loose threads where the wing has been removed from a uniform.
A guaranteed authentic original World War Two period pilots wing in fantastic condition which would compliment a badge display or make a nice addition to a period uniform.
