An original WW2 era RAF Group Captains Greatcoat shoulder board complete with gold bullion rank and albatross.
The albatross is surmounted by a Kings Crown which dates it to pre 1953 and could well be a wartime manufactured example.
The backing features the original split ring and lace which would attach it to the coat. An original Brass Kings Crown RAF button is also present.
All in all a nice WW2 period item.
