A very nice unissued example of the cotton stole which fits into the early war RAF Combined Pattern Flying Suit.
The cotton exterior is in great condition with no signs of wear or aging. All the stitching also appears to be in perfect order and all the buttons are present.
This stole features brass buttons which at first glance would appear to be standard early war brass buttons but are in fact a unique pattern with a dished back and are a heavy casting than the standard buttons.
