An original WW2 Officers Khaki Drill trousers by 'Austin Reed' in excellent condition.
These trousers a typical of those made by private outfitters for British Army, RAF, and Royal Navy officers throughout the Second World War. They feature a button fly front, waist adjusters, one rear pocket, internal brace buttons and a wide cut leg. All the features point towards wartime manufacture.
The trousers are in very good condition but have seen some signs of wear and a few water marks which may come out with cleaning. There is also a small repair to the left knee and the rear pocket is missing its button. This would not be difficult to replace.
The trousers measure at a 28" waist and a 29" inside leg.
Overall a cracking pair of original Khaki Drill trousers in nice wearable condition. These would suit a British Army, RAF or Royal Naval impression, mannequin or collection very well.
