Original WW2 British Army MT Goggles

An original pair of British Army MT goggles with yellow tinted lenses as used throughout the Second World War by tank crew, Dispatch Rider, Jeep Drivers and many more.
The goggles are the standard round shape issued during ww2 rather than the teardrop shape also seen in contemporary pictures. They feature yellow tinted lenses, grey leather work, grey fur around the edges of the grey dyed stockinet eye pieces and a grey elasticated strap.
The condition of the goggles is OK for their age but there are some rust marks to the grey fur and the stockinet has split in one area at the bottom of the goggles meaning that wire is poking through it. The lenses also show signs of delamination as can be seen in the pictures. This has all been reflected in the price.
On the plus side all the metalwork is clean and bright and the strap is like brand new retaining all of its elasticity and its original deep blue-grey colour.
Overall a reasonable pair of original wartime goggles.
