A good original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more throughout the Second World War.
These particular goggles are the more sort after examples with clear lenses.
The condition of the goggles is reasonable for their age but the strap has lost the majority of its elasticity. The leather work is in good condition. The frames are good with some some signs of age whilst the lenses are still clear with no serious signs of delamination, as is common with this style of goggles. . The two metal adjusters on the strap have corroded also, though this could be cleaned.
These goggles come complete with their original hardboard box which is in condition with various signs of age and use.
Overall, a good pair of goggles which display well, Priced with the condition in mind.
