Original Early British Army Entrenching Tool

An original British Army Entrenching tool as used during both World Wars.

This entrenching tool is made up of the standard cast iron head and wooden helve. The head has a service number stamped onto it which leads me to believe it is an early example dating from the Great War or possibly the inter-war period.

The condition of the tool is good as can be seen in the pictures with the usual signs of wear and age that are to be expected with something of this age.

This would make a good addition to any British Army collection without a doubt!
