1954 Dated RAF New Pattern Battledress Blouse With LAC Insignia
A good example of the post World War Two 'New Pattern' RAF battledress blouse dated 1954.
The blouse features two black bakerlite kings crown buttons to each breast pocket and a cavalry cuff on each sleeve.
The blouse is in good condition and retains its original RAF insignia denoting the rank of LAC. This blouse came with the greatcoat listed below and almost certainly belonged to the same man.
The original label is still intact inside the jacket and states the jacket as being a size No. 11. The sizes are hard to read but I believe a size 11 fits a 38" chest.
All in all, a nice RAF battledress clearly dated which would suit the collector and re-enactor equally well.
