A good original pair of 1960 Pattern Combat Trousers in a large size.
These trousers came into use with the British Army in the 1960 and were based on the 1952 Pattern uniform issued to British troops serving in Korea. These trousers would have been issued as part of a set which included a matching smock.
The trousers are made from a plain olive green material and feature a First Field Dress pocket to the right hip and a map pocket to the side of the left thigh. The trousers also have reinforced knees, slash pockets to the hips and belt loops. A brass 'Flash' zip closes the fly.
Inside the trousers both original labels are still present. One label is an instruction label whilst the other is the issue label. The label states the year of manufacture as 1963 and the size as Size 9 - Long Large. The trousers are certainly a very generous size and will fit somebody of up to 6'2" and a 40" waist.
The condition of the trousers is very good with only small signs of wear. They display very well and are still very wearable.
These trousers are becoming harder to find now especially in a good wearable large size such as these!
