Original 1952 Dated British Army Undershirt

An original British Army wool undershirt made by 'A.H.M LTD' and dated 1952.
This shirt is the same pattern used during the Second World War featuring a crew neck and short sleeves and could easily pass as a wartime example.
The label features the War Department arrow as well as the size which in this instance is 3. The measures at 19 1/2" pit to pit so should fit a 38" chest comfortably.
The overall condition is good and there are no real signs of wear. There are various storage marks though which can be seen in the photographs.
Overall, a good period item which could easily pass for WW2.
