An original pair of 1950 Pattern Jungle Shorts in good condition and dated 1957.
These shorts feature the cross belt fastening as well as two slash pockets (on to each hip) and two rear patch pockets with buttoning flaps.
The shorts are made from a cotton drill material in a green shade.
Inside the shorts still retain their original issue label which states the size as 12. This is a large size which will fit someone who is 6' to 6' 2" tall and has a waist of between 37" and 39". Due to the waist belt design the waist has a few inches of adjustment. No buckles are included with these shorts so you will have to source your own.
The condition of the shorts is very good as can be seen in the photographs. One rear pocket button is broken but I should be able to find a replacement if you ask me.
Altogether a nice pair of original 1950s military shorts with the sought-after cross belt design and in a large wearable size!
