An original Women's military blouse made by Decathlon during the 1940s.
This pattern of blouse was worn by women serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service as well as other women's branches of service. It is made from a khaki coloured brushed cotton and features a full button front and a neckband collar to which a detachable collar can be fitted. The original label is still present to the interior and features the wartime period 'Decathlon' logo - A prolific manufacturer of sportswear and clothing for the British military during this period.
When laid flat the blouse measures -
Chest - 20 1/2"
Inside arm - 20 1/2"
Outside arm - 23"
Shoulders - 14 1/2"
Length at back - 25"
Collar -13"
The shirt is in good condition with some signs of previous wear or use. Overall it is a wearable example but it does have some marks etc. It is a vintage item so please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.
The shirt also comes complete with a matching collar. It is stamped 13 to the inside which denotes the size.
