Original WW2 USMC P1941 HBT Trousers

Original WW2 USMC P1941 HBT Trousers

Code: 51066

SOLD

An original pair of United States Marine Corps P41 HBT trousers in well used conditon.

This pattern of trousers was used by members of the USMC throughout the Second World War and well into the post-war years. Made from an OD green Herringbone Twill material, these trousers feature a wide cut to the leg, frog-mouth front pockets, patch pockets to the rear and a waistband with belt loops. Only one of the original 'US MARINE CORPS' Rivetted buttons has survived inside the fly with the others being period replacements.

The trousers should fit someone of around a 32" waist and when laid flat measure -

Waist - 16"
Inside leg - 28"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 18"
Cuff - 10"

The trousers are in well worn condition as can be seen in the pictures. This is all authentic period wear and gives them a lot of character. The main issues are the cut to the knee, another to the side of the righthand pocket and a small hole to the left of the outer side seam on the left leg. Please take into account that these are a previously owned, well worn pair of trousers.

Altogether a great looking pair of 1940s work trousers with some great details.
