An original United States Navy H-4 Radio headset complete with boom mic attachment.
This headset was standard issue with the USAAF and Navy during WW2 and into the post-war period. It features the USN style large rubber ear pieces NAF-484901 which have chamois covered cushions and a metal frame headband. This is fitted with a khaki coloured canvas cover which fastens with small metal 'DOT' branded press studs. The headset comes complete with its original recievers which are marked Type 49456and wiring including the double ronged plug which is marked 'PJ-292 AREY'.
The headset is fitted with an original boom microphone which is a nice period addition and is marked MT-522A/U.
Overall the set is in good condition and displays well. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a pre-owned, vintage item which may have small issues commensurate with age. Please also note that the cap and display head are not included in the sale.
