A rare example of an RAF 'Jacket, Khaki Drill, OA' as worn in the Middle East and Far East during the Second World War.
This scarce jacket is rarely seen on the market these days and features a full set of brass Kings crown RAF buttons, and original brass waist belt buckle and embroidered RAF shoulder flashes which appear to be original to the tunic.
The label inside the jacket is still present but quite damaged, making it hard to read. The crows foot is still visible but the maker and date are very hard to make out. The size however is clearly stated as No.15 which will fit up to 6' tall, a 38" chest and a 34" waist.
Inside the jacket is also a faint WD mark, but again it is too faint for me to read.
The overall condition is excellent and the jacket clearly hasn't had much wear.
All in all, an excellent example of a rare RAF jacket which would compliment any RAF collection.
