The manufacturer's name is stated as 'Welch, Margetson & CoLTD' and both the 1943 date and the War Department broad arrow marking are also present.
The shirt sill suit around a 36" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures -
Chest - 21 1/2"
Inside arm - 19"
Outside arm - 22 1/2"
Shoulders - 16 3/4"
The shirt is in great condition with only limited signs of wear and age. It displays well and is still very wearable but please take time to study the pictures and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
A rare shirt in fantastic condition. This would make an excellent addition to a collection or could well suit a re-enactor.
