A good example of the RAF Ordinary Airman's Tunic as used from Pre WW2 until the late 1950s.
This particular example is dated 1951 but is identical to the wartime pattern and is a perfectly acceptable substitute for a war dated example.
The jacket is complete with brass buttons and it has original wartime insignia to both sleeves which are both of the early pattern making this tunic a usable for Battle of Britain in its current state.
Sadly there is no belt with the tunic but these do come up on the market quite regularly.
The tunic is marked as a size No.11. The label states the sizes as -
Height 5'9" - 5' 10"'
Breast 38" 39"
All in all, a nice tunic ideal for the collector and re-enactor alike.
