SOLD

An original British motorcyclists cut-off T Shirt dating from the 1970s.

This shirt belonged to Mick Hemmings who was a well known motorcycle racer and renowned bike builder best known for his work on Nortons and Triumphs. He had this along with two others made during the 1970s and decided to cut the sleeves off this one! The top is made from a white cotton jersey and features a contrasting red neck band. The front of the shirt features typical period graphics including the Triumph and Norton logos and the words 'Bike British' above a design featuring the Union Jack colours and an arrow. 'Mick Hemmings Northampton England' is below this. The rear of the shirt features the words 'Hemmings Norvil Commando' with the word Commando being presented in its iconic logo form.

The shirt will suit around a 38" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures -

Chest - 19 1/2"
Shoulders - 17 1/2"
Length - 21 1/2"

The shirt is in good condition for its age but does have plenty of signs of wear and use along with some staining. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.

This shirt couldn't be any more 70s in cut and the graphics are also so of the time. A great piece of motorcycle history!
