An orginal British Army Microphone Hand No. 7 which dates from the Second World War.
This pattern of microphone was used in conjunction with various radio sets set as the WS 18 set. It is made from bakelite which has a wartime pattern cloth covered wire protruding from the bottom which has the correct pattern of jack fitted to the end. On the opposite end is a circular mouth piece with trumpet and on the side a button which is marked 'PRESS'. It features a hook to the rear to allow it to be hung when not in use and it has been fitted with an extra long cord which has a 1/4" brass jacket fitted to the end.
The mic is in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It has limited signs of age and wear and overall displays well. Please take time to study the picture before purchasing.
