An original British Army Webbing Sten Bandolier clearly dated 1944 and in superb condition.
This rare piece of equipment was designed to hold seven Sten Gun magazines and saw use within the airborne division as well as other elite fighting units.
This particular example is in stunning unissued condition and is clearly maker marked an dated. It was made by MECo, or Mill Equipment Company to give them their full title, who were the original and most prolific manufacturer of webbing for the British Army. The 1944 date is also clear and legible.
The bandolier does not appear to have been issued with no signs of wear or previous use. The webbing is still the colour it would have been made it first came out of the factory and all the brass work is in excellent condition.
All in all this is a fantastic example of a rare and sought-after piece of WW2 Special Forces equipment which would be extremely hard to better.
A must have for the serious British Army collector!
