An original pair of Second World War British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more.
This pattern of goggles features leather sides which dates them to the post Dunkirk period. They were worn throughout the rest of the war in most theatres by the British Army.
The goggles are in reasonable condition for their age. The nickel plated frames and the leather appears to also be good. The strap is complete and intact but lacks elasticity. The lenses have some delamination as is common with the type of goggles.
All in all a fairly good pair of wartime goggles which would make a good addition to a collection.
