An original British Army Officers canvas campaign sink dating from the Second World War.
This item formed part of the British officers campaign set and is designed to be mounted on a set of wooden folding legs. It is made from the pea green coloured canvas that wartime officers campaign items often are and it features loops to support the wooden legs. The original markings are still present to the exterior and include the maker's name of 'Stringers', the place name of Chichester and the 1942 date.
The bowl is in good condition although it has some of signs of age and use etc. Overall it displays well but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
A good war dated example of a WW2 officers campaign item as used by the British Army and the RAF.
